Vincent Bilotta is well known in the region for his dramatic landscapes, prints of Catskill waterfalls and murals which can cover an entire wall.  This friendly and well-versed photographer will deliver an Artist Talk and Demonstration amidst a backdrop of his works at M Gallery.

Finely tuned about the topic, his take on creating his look is sure to be entertaining and knowledgeable.  His work is all about riding the curve.  He’ll discuss capturing the visible spectrum with dynamic range and latitude unimaginable to chemical photographers.

Featuring the work of four New York City-based artists, Emilie Baltz, Carrie Elston, Asya Reznikov and Emily Orling.   Explores the transition of character and thought into adulthood in a society that appears to have less and less use for it.  Addresses economic, emotional, sociological and mental questions faced by younger generations, “(Ado/Obso)lesence)” is one of our most ambitious group shows.

“Findings from the Artchaeological Museum”
Opening Reception House from  5:00 – 9:00pm

The Open Studio presents a collection of common objects with extraordinary stories, spanning times, continents and civilizations. The collection includes a necklace that was lost by the God Neptune, a fork that once belonged to Thomas Cole, the moon's smoking pipe, a Hemingway tangle, and a monument made by a tribe of diminutive sculptors of the Hudson Valley, now believed extinct. Most of these artifacts were found by artchaeologists Dina Bursztyn and Julie Chase. A catalogue accompanies this exhibit and also there are illustrated journals and papers describing the providence of these findings.
