“Lawrence Calcagno (1913-1993) – One Man Show”

Lawrence Calcagno, a self-taught artist of international stature, born in 1913. Later studied painting with Clyfford Still, Mark Rothko and Ad Reinhardt and attended the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris and the Instituto d' Arte Statale in Florence, Italy. Calcagno's works are in the permanent collections of many noted museums across the country.
Gallery 42, located in a historic home in Catskill, NY, is normally open from 5-8 pm on the third Saturday of each month for Catskill gallery tour and by appointment. (518) 943-2642
